About Me
I can honestly say I am exactly where I am meant to be and can’t imagine being anywhere else!
Growing up my family moved every two to three years. Can you believe I have lived in a total of 15 different homes in my 33 years of life?! Some people may have hated having to move so much, but I absolutely loved it! New neighbourhood, new friends, new bedroom to decorate – it all seemed so exciting to me and ultimately had me fall in love with ‘all things home’. This is where you think I’d say “… and that is how I always knew I wanted to get into Real Estate” and I wish that were the case! It sure would have saved me a lot of money!
Instead, I grew up and decided to become a teacher. Five years, two degrees and a diploma later, I moved across the country to Vancouver, BC to teach grade one at a private school. I loved living on the West Coast, but it’s true what they say, “Home is where the heart is” and before I knew it my husband Eric and I, along with our adopted fur baby Jackson, were headed back to Ontario.
We found ourselves in London where we spent the next 6 years. I worked as an elementary school teacher and we bought our very first home together. It was the home we brought both our babies home from the hospital to. It wasn’t until they came into our lives that we still felt too far from what was truly home.
So we decided to take a new adventure and move back (officially), and with that came my career change. I decided to give up on teaching and pursue a career in Real Estate! I took my courses while on maternity leave with my daughter and got licensed shortly after we bought a house in Tecumseh.
